Cumberland Packing

Cumberland Packing was founded in 1945 in Brooklyn, New York by Ben Eisenstadt. It was the first company to put sugar in single-serve packets. In 1957, Ben and his son Marvin invented the low-calorie sugar substitute Sweet’N Low®. Over 500 billion packets have been sold around the world. Today, Sweet’N Low® is complemented by a whole family of special diet products sold in over 60 countries.
